Reverend Simon Freeman

I was born and brought up in the Black Country of the West Midlands. I worked in the hotel industry for a couple of years then worked for 26 years in the wine trade, moving to the West Wales coast in 1995. In 2015, I left my job and went to St Michael’s College in Llandaff to train to be a priest. After completing my Bth (Hons) in 2018, I went back to north Wales for my curacy in Betws-y-Coed and then came to Llanharan and Brynna in May 2021. I am a member of the Society of Catholic Priests (SCP), you can find more information about them here. I am also the Interim Area Dean for Eglwysilan Deanery. I live with my wife Belinda who is also a priest.
