The Church of St Peter in Brynna was built in the 1830’s to replace the old St Peter’s Church on the hill behind the village. Sick of walking all the way up to the top of the hill, the locals built a new church in the village.
Built in the ‘chapel’ rectangular style, it was fully refurbished in 2010.
The pews were removed and comfortable chairs and carpets were added. A kitchen and toilet were also added, this allowed for local groups to use the facilities also.
When the old St Peter’s closed, the font from the old medieval church was rescued and placed in the new church, creating an important link with the past.
St Peter’s can be hired for events. Please contact Rosina on 07917 566361.For Life Events contact Reverend Simon on 01443 286674 or via email - SimonFreeman@cinw.org.uk
